EXCHANGE / REFUND POLICY

At Laconic Fashion, we strive to provide quality products and customer satisfaction. However, we have outlined our refund and exchange policy below to ensure transparency and fairness.


1. General Policy

  • Goods once purchased are non-refundable.

  • Exceptions may be considered only under special circumstances, as per the E-Commerce Act, 2081 and Consumer Protection Act, 2075.


2. Legal Exceptions

Refunds or returns will be accepted only under the following exceptional circumstances:

a. Goods Not as Described

  • The product does not match the description, image, specification, or promised quality displayed on our website or social media.

b. Defective or Damaged Goods

  • The item is found to be damaged, defective, spoiled, expired, or otherwise unfit for use at the time of delivery.

c. Delayed Delivery

  • Goods/services are not delivered within the committed timeframe without a valid reason.

d. Incorrect Product Delivered

  • The buyer receives a completely different item than ordered (e.g., wrong product, size, color, or design).

e. Failure to Meet Warranty or Guarantee

  • The product does not perform as promised under any warranty or guarantee terms offered at the time of sale.

f. Misleading Information or Lack of Disclosure

  • The seller withholds important product information or makes misleading claims that influence the customer’s purchase decision.


3. Exchange Policy

3.1. Eligibility for Exchange

  • Products must be exchanged within 2 days of the purchase date.

  • No exchange requests will be accepted after 2 days of the purchase.

3.2. Conditions for Exchange

  • Products damaged by the customer will not be accepted for exchange.

  • Items must be unworn, unstained, undamaged, and handled with proper hygiene.

  • All original tags, labels, and the billing receipt must be submitted with the product.

  • Intimate wear, inner garments, and hygiene-related items are not eligible for return or exchange.

3.3. Product Issues Handled by Us

  • We value every purchase and will offer an exchange in the following cases:

    • Damaged product from our side

    • Incorrect product dispatched

    • Lost or undelivered items during shipping

3.4. Customer-Requested Exchanges

  • In cases of size issues, incorrect product received, or other valid reasons, exchanges will be accepted as long as the product meets the exchange conditions mentioned above.


4. Billing and Charges During Exchange

  • If the new item’s price is higher than the original, the customer is responsible for paying the difference.

  • Any excess amount from the exchanged item will be retained as store credit and is non-refundable.

  • Delivery or shipping charges incurred during the exchange process are to be borne by the customer, unless otherwise stated during the process.
